It is so wonderful to be the principal of a great school like Pine View.  This is my 35th year as an educator, my 9th as an administrator.  I have a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and both a Masters and an Educational Specialist degree in Instructional Leadership.  Most importantly, I have a love for children in my heart.  Every decision, every choice I make is made with my children’s best interests as my first thought. I am in my right place doing what I am supposed to do.  As we Pioneers “Blaze a trail to a new frontier of learning”, we are constantly aware of all that is new and exciting for us to learn.  Together, faculty, staff, parents, and I can help our children find all the “trails” that are out there.

I am so excited to be at Pine View for my eighth year!  I have enjoyed teaching here for the past seven years, and I am looking forward to my new role as Assistant Principal/Academic Coordinator/Librarian.  I consider Pine View  part of my heart and the people I work with are like family.  The students that I have gotten to know over the years are so special, and many I have taught for three consecutive years.  This is one of the things that makes this such a rewarding place to work.  My goal for this year is to continue “Blazing the Trail” by assisting the faculty and staff anyway I can.  It is the love for our kids that drives the teachers and staff at Pine View.  Parents, teachers, staff, administrators, and children all working together will make this another great year,  and help us “Blaze a Trail to the Target” .
